Objectivos

As competências que se espera que sejam adquiridas pelos discentes são as seguintes. Em termos globais, capacidade de reconhecer, discutir e formular questões politologicamente informadas no âmbito da política comparada. Em termos mais concretos, capacidade de entender o funcionamento das instituições políticas e o seu impacto no desempenho dos regimes democráticos na Europa, bem como de analisar de forma sistemática e crítica a relação entre instituições políticas e entre instituições políticas e objetivos últimos da democracia.

Método de Avaliação

Avaliação ao longo do semestre (pressupõe assiduidade de 70% no mínimo): Participação nos debates (10%) Apresentação oral de um dos textos programados (20%). Teste de escolha múltipla a meio do semestre (20%) Ensaio escrito sobre um dos tópicos sugeridos (50%). Avaliação por exame (100%)
