Objectivos

A UC visa dotar os estudantes de uma visão crítica sobre os processos de globalização. O objetivo é proporcionar uma melhor compreensão das crescentes interconexões globais, através de exemplos concretos, para familiarizar os alunos com as teorias básicas relacionadas com o debate sobre a globalização, e para fornecer um conhecimento da história e do papel das instituições relevantes na política internacional contemporânea. A UC pretende também analisar temas diversos da governação global, de modo a que os estudantes adquiram uma visão compreensiva sobre este campo.

Método de Avaliação

1. Avaliação contínua a) Presença e participação ativa nas aulas, através de breve exposição calendarizada de um tema (mínimo de presença em 70% das aulas) - 30% na nota final b) Ensaio de revisão (3000 a 3500 palavras) de 4 textos indicados na bibliografia complementar da UC - 70% na nota final O ensaio deverá ser enviado para o correio electrónico ana.lucia.sa@iscte-iul.pt até à data acordada na reunião do Conselho de Ano do 1º semestre (1ª época). 2.
