Objectivos

Programa

1. Introdução ao curso. Apresentação do syllabus. Métodos de avaliação. Entre pesquisa colaborativa e antropologia pública. Dilemas éticos e impasses. 2. Linhas na areia: fronteiras, demarcações, limites. 3. Para uma antropologia da discriminação. Um estudo de caso. 4. Direitos das mulheres. O local e o global. 5. Quem é o sujeito dos direitos humanos? Universalismo e relativismo cultural. Uma abordagem crítica 6. Actos de cidadania e Direitos Humanos (projecção de filme e debate). 7. Representação. A política do sofrimento 8. Encontros e contradições de ajuda humanitária e desenvolvimento. 9. Ambiente. Mudanças e desafios societais. 10. Mesa redonda final. Preparação dos trabalhos finais.

Método de Avaliação

A avaliação integra a assiduidade e a participação informada nas aulas (10%) e a apresentação e debate em grupo de textos quer da bibliografia fornecida quer resultantes de pesquisas individuais seguido de entrega de relatório de grupo (30%). O trabalho final consiste na análise de um dos temas debatidos no seminário (60%). A ser submetido por e-mail.
