Introduction to the syllabus and bibliography.

Assessment consists of two elements:

1) an essay relating Pierre Bourdieu’s The Field of Cultural Production. Essays on art and literature (1993) with current-day art markets (50%);

2) an individual test encompassing all the program (50%), held on January 10^th 2024 (WED).

Essay’s length up to 2.500 words, to be delivered by email (luis.afonso@letras.ulisboa.pt) as a pdf file until December 22^nd 2023 (FRI).
