In this session we discussed the usefulness of making, organizing and indexing fieldnotes. We also made an exercise with excerts from the book Tell My Horse, from Zora Neale Hurston (1938), where it's possible to distinguish different elements such as: conversations in active and passive voice; cultural specific elements, including rituals and local vocabulary; elements where the author position herself and make reflections about what she is getting from the field.
