The lecture focused on one of the Priorities in Humanitarian Action:
- Health Needs Assessment: purpose, principles, frameworks and tools; Estimated Health threats/risks;
- Public Health Analysis in HA (PHSA): WHO tool to quickly analyze the public health situation in emergencies, especially through secondary data. It supports risk prioritization, understanding of the health system and joint response planning.
- Review of PHSA in emergencies: Afghanistan, Myanmar and DRC.
