This is a 90-minute crash course in English offering concise and practical advice on how to write a publishable article and on the process of getting it published in a peer-reviewed journal. The emphasis will be on anthropology, but most of the tips will also apply to adjacent disciplines. Topics include how to come up with a strong argument, how to structure the article manuscript, how to mobilize the literature effectively, how to make good use of the ethnography, tips regarding language and style, how to select the right journal, the peer review process and how to use it to your advantage. The crash course is ideal for doctoral students and early career scholars, but it is open to everyone.
