Objectivos

No final desta UC, os discentes terão desenvolvido os seus conhecimentos a nível teórico sobre a economia política de partidos de extrema-direita. Em paralelo, os discentes terão melhorado a sua capacidade de análise crítica através da análise da relação entre partidos de extrema-direita e a evolução do sistema capitalista no mundo contemporâneo. O debate sobre a complexidade inerente aos partidos de extrema-direita permite aos estudantes desenvolverem a sua comunicação oral e capacidade de raciocínio sobre fenómenos sociais e económicos contemporâneos. A análise comparada destes partidos permite melhorar a capacidade dos alunos em aplicar o conhecimento teórico a um diverso de número de casos concretos. O carácter pluralista e interdisciplinar da UC, envolvendo conteúdos de economia e ciência política, permite aos alunos ampliar a sua capacidade para cruzar diversas áreas de conhecimento de forma crítica e considerar formas alternativas para adquirir saber.

Avaliação ao longo do semestre: 50% ensaio final (2500 palavras, excluíndo bibliografia); 25% apresentação em aula (grupos de 2 alunos, duração máxima de 15 minutos); 25% participação e assiduidade Avaliação por exame: prova escrita individual (100%)
