Summary: Based on the reading of James Ferguson's proposals based on his research in Lesotho, we will introduce and debate some of the first and main criticisms emerging in anthropology in the 1990s regarding development projects. Introduction to debates on capitalism and post-colonial states.

Summary: Exploration of the historical construction of a field of dialogue between anthropology and development as a practice, from a theoretical and methodological perspective. Critical debates and productive relations between the two fields will be combined.
