The ninth class of the module Europe as a Global Actor was the last class in this format as the final 10th class will be substituted for attendance at the international conference Europe as a Global Actor 2023, which will take place at ISCTE on 11 and 12 May 2023. The class focused on the module's evaluation, more specifically the essay that the students have to submit until May 31 by 23:59. Every student presented their essay idea(s) and discuss any problems or questions they are facing or could foresee. The students had the opportunity to receive feedback on their ideas. I then discussed a series of tips based on last year's essays. We talked about focusing on EU's actorness, being analytical rather than descriptive, avoiding plagiarism, using proper referencing, using critical judgement when selecting literature, using topical sentences and re-reading to improve clarity and cohesion.
