THEORY

- Introduction to geometric linear programming:

  • Definition of linear programing problem (LPP);
  • Definition of objective function, linear constraint and feasible region;
  • Geometric characterization of the feasible region and its boundary: closed bounded and closed unbounded cases;
  • Characterization of the set of global maxima and global minima of an objective function associated to a LPP as vertices, line segments and/or half-lines contained in the boundary of the feasible region.
